بررسی مترجمان کتبی و شفاهی در آثار داستانی و فیلم‌های معاصر از منظر عاملیت
چکیده
باتوجه به محبوبیت آثار داستانی و تأثیر آن‌ها بر تصورات عموم درمورد گروه‌ها و پدیده‌های گوناگون، پژوهش حاضر بر تصویر ارائه شده از مترجمان کتبی و شفاهی در آثار داستانی انگلیسی معاصر، از جمله رمان‌ها و آثار سینمایی، از منظر عاملیت پرداخته است. چهارچوب نظری اتخاذ شده برای پژوهش حاضر، مدل عاملیت ارائه شده در پوپو (۲۰۰۹) است. سه جنبۀ عاملیت که در این مدل معرفی شده‌اند، یعنی منابع، عملکرد و گفتمان، در پیکره‌ای متشکل از ۱۵ رمان و ۵ اثر سینمایی بررسی شدند. در تمامی این آثار یکی از شخصیت‌های اصلی مترجم کتبی یا شفاهی بوده و روند کار وی در طی داستان حائز اهمیت بوده است. یافته‌های پژوهش نشان داد که جنبة منابع عمدتاً متمرکز بر دانش زبانی است. جنبۀ عملکرد تصویر روشن‌تری از فرایند ترجمه و نحوة استفادة این شخصیت‌ها از تخصص و منابع‌شان ارائه کرد و جنبۀ گفتمان تصویری دوگانه به‌دست داد که مطابق آن، نگرش و رویکرد مشاهده‌شده نسبت به عاملیت برخی شخصیت‌ها عمدتاً مثبت و آگاه به عاملیت بود، اما برخی دیگر از شخصیت‌ها با نگرش‌های منفی، بی‌اعتمادی و ناپیدایی مترجم مواجه بودند. درنهایت، یافته‌های پژوهش حاکی از آن است که عملکرد این شخصیت‌ها برجسته‌ترین جنبۀ عاملیت آن‌ها است و جنبۀ گفتمان عمدتاً به تأثیر سایر عاملان و انتظارات آن‌ها وابسته است.
